Find the closest match to your existing BSM module part number as you can for more chance of it being compatible.

It doesn't have to come off a C3 as many other models used the same equipment.

ok. thanks a lot.
currently a siemens model is installed on it. It is not clear whether it is bsm b3 or bsm b5. the label paper has been erased. Some features of the vehicle are missing or working incorrectly. Authorized service siemens 6500.Y3, my mechanic says you should buy delphi 6500.Y1. I am indecisive. and should I get BSM B3 or BSM B5? What do these numbers mean?

Hi

Your 2002 16v Diesel will use a BSM B3.

Hi guys. I've been asking questions for the bsm change for a while. Now what I'm wondering is this. I bought delphi bsm module instead of Siemens bsm module. The authorized service said that when I called by phone there would be no problem. When we replace the module, will it be plug-and-play or is it necessary to do something else?

The BSM module is plug and play, no programming required.
