Hi,
Does anyone know if the tracking spec is the same for all C3s? I have a 1.4HDi on 59 plate but can only find the specs for cars upto 2004 which states:-
FL Toe -0.13 to -0.04
FR Toe -0.13 to -0.04
Wheel alignment/tracking

Hi
I don't have the information to hand to confirm but I know that the running gear on the pre facelift and facelift models of the 2002 shape have the same running gear.
I would expect the same running gear to have the same setup

Just had a look in the Haynes manual & it states Toe Setting Front should be 0+/-1.0mm, however elsewhere on the web I found FL Toe -0.13 to -0.04, FR Toe -0.13 to -0.04 (no units) what is correct?

Hi,
These are the front suspension geometry settings for models of the Citroen C3 2002 to 2009
CRD is the off road/heavy duty/difficult terrain suspension, rather than the normal road going suspension.
N.B. : Front of the vehicle (following the arrow ).
A less than B : Positive figure (+) (toe-in).
A more than B : Negative figure (-) ( opening).
Citroen C3 (2002-2009) Front Suspension
(*) Non-adjustable.
Lower castor dissymmetry at 0°30’.
Lower camber dissymmetry at 0°18’.
and why have 1 table? when two would suffice
Tracking : Difference between distance A and distance B (Front of the vehicle : In the direction of the arrow).,A < B : Toe-in.,A > B : Opening

Obviously without any units, the numbers are meaningless

Thanks for the help. I adjusted it back within limits all from the side where I had changed the track rod end. Now the steering wheel is 15 to 20 degree to the right when driving straight. It was to be expected I suppose as I don't knwo what the tracking was like before I changed the track rod end (it certainly used to wear the inside of the tyres but I put that down to me driving quickly round roundabouts!) I'm going to drive it around for a week to let it settle then re-measure it. As the stering wheel has a centre position centre will it cause any issues driving with a slight offset?

It won't unless you have the ESP where the ECU knows the direction of the car and the position of the steering wheel to make braking on a corner adjustments. As the stering wheel has a centre position centre will it cause any issues driving with a slight offset?
