ag it's a little list so far and I'v managed to repair them all but when it comes to mechanical stuff underneath I don't want to risk it as going to be having a baby in it with me and once that fell off I just thought ahhhh maybe it's time to get rid lol

£200 sounds about right for 2 front springs including fitting and VAT. You may be able to shave this down to £150 for the pair from an independent.

Not that I am aware of. Is not only a C3 problem, its the new side load, light weight springs aka 'banana springs'. The advice would be to change them when you do the dampers at 50K then you should be changing them before they break and when the dampers get soft.

Banana springs can be difficult to remove safely.

This is one that broke but didn't fall off.
