Hi new user here,
We purchased a 2007 C3 executive a few months ago and have been very pleased with it. However a problem has arisen during some rain storms. i.e that water seems to get into the polen filter box and then leaks into the front well. I know the windscreen was replaced prior to our buying as part of roadworthy. Anyhow my question is should the rubber strip between the screen and the plastic scuttlepanels be attached/glued to screen, the Haynes manual seems to indicate it should? Or could it be leaking from somewhere else, I noticed when replacing pollen filter that seal is double lipped for 2/3 of way round but is single the rest is this correct?
Thank you Joe

Thanks, I suspect the rubber moulding is the problem, made a slip with the model it is an Exclusive not an Executive.
Thanks again,
Joe

Hi Joe, sorry its a bit late, but here are my findings with the windscreen surrounds.

The windscreen sits in the rubber moulding. Maybe it was bonded once, but its not stuck to the windscreen anymore.

The rubber moulding is bonded to the secondary moulding.

The plastic scuttle not attached to the mouldings but just sits on top.

made a slip with the model it is an Exclusive not an Executive.
No problem, Citroen only did an Exclusive, so I knew what you meant :)
