I used the fuse box layout, as supplied in Tips and Tricks, to locate the fuse for my mirrors but unfortunately removed the white unlabelled fuse between numbers 10 (orange) and 22 (yellow) just lower down, due to not looking properly. I replaced the fuse straight away as I realised it was not the fuse I was after and thought nothing of it. Since then, the time and date on the dashboard are permanently flashing and I am unable to set the time and date or to stop the flashing - is this problem related to my removal and replacement of this fuse?

It's possible you removed the permanent 12 volt supply to the clock, the permanent supply allows the clock to keep going internally when the ignition is off.

Did you also loose radio stations?

Could you change the clock OK before this happened?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

I could change the clock previously. I don't know if I lost any radio stations but I will check.
If the permanent 12 volt supply to the clock is where the arrow is pointing, then yes I did!

You pulled the park shunt. Its not a fuse, but looks like a fuse. It takes power away from the BSI fuse box so you loose the clock time and radio stations.

Just set the clock again. If not, why not?

Thanks for the clarification, C3CAR. I have managed to set the clock now but when I tried originally, I failed so may have been doing it incorrectly.
