Three lights blew on the left side in a week. Upon changing these the car stopped working. In key, sometimes it stays in economy mode, others it will let the radio and windows work. Not starting though. Not even turning over. You can just hear the relays doing their thing. We have changed the starter motor, tried the BSI reset. Checked all fuses and changed the battery. We are stuck now. Any ideas?

Bad luck or a bad connection?

If something stops working after you change something, it worth going back to whatever you changed and check its all ok there.

Solenoid. Check for 12v at the solenoid when the key is turned to starter position.

Starter and solenoid?

All the fuses? Even the hidden ones under the engine bay fuse box?

Check the maxi fuses (hidden)/check for 12v at the starter solenoid while turning the key.

Maxi fuse box had water in it. We have taken it all out to allow it to dry. Will keep you posted.
