For the 2nd time since owning the car [1 year now] all the fans/blowers for the heating/air con have all stopped working. I had this problem 'fixed' last year at a garage and it cost a crazy £140. But a couple of months back it began the same problem. Randomly the fans will just not work for a few days then all of a sudden your driving and they come back on working fine for a few weeks. But now they haven't worked for over a week and i think it is permanent again this time. Supposedly the contol unit was replaced last time but i cant imagine it has broke again less than 6 months later surely? I wish i had looked on ebay before too because you can get a replacement unit for £35 on there....

It sounds like you had a loose connection, the fan speed controller is known to give issues (its also called the resistor).Randomly the fans will just not work for a few days then all of a sudden your driving and they come back on working fine for a few weeks. But now they haven't worked for over a week and i think it is permanent again this time
Several different versions were fitted over the years. Easy to remove to compare yours with the pictures here in the listings here, just scroll through to find the one that matches the one you have removed.
The heater resistor is circled in red. The picture is from this post petrol-citroen-c3/heater-resister-pack-t282.html and there is some information about the blower in this post too citroen-c3-questions/interior-heater-fa ... -t349.html
