Sorry if there has been a post on this before. My 2019 C3 Flair is fitted with touch unlocking. Touching the inside of one of the front door handles unlocks the car. Pressing the button to open the tailgate when the car is loked should unlock all doors. Mine did until the last few days, but now it has stopped working. I don't want advice as to how to fix it as I have extended warranty, I was just wondering if this had happened to others and what the fix was.

Hi
Have Citroen fixed the problem under warranty and if so, do you know what they did?
Thanks

Not due in until 14th March. Further to this, what we have found is that if you stand by the tailgat with keys in pocket the switch will not operate the central locking. However, if you move the key round the side of the car to just behind the rear wheels the system works as it should. This lead me to think that the signal from the key was weak due to a low battery, but a new battery made no difference. It is the same with both keys.

The fault was really odd. If you tried opening the car by standing with the keys nesr the tailgate lock, the system wouldn't unlock. However, if the key was moved to the side of the car the car would unlock. So no problem with the boot button. It seemed like there was no communication with a sensor/aerial at the ack of the car. So I took it in, and that was exactly what they found. There are 3 aerials, one in each front door handle and one near or in the tailgate, and initial diagnosis is that this aerial has failed. The repair will be under warranty, but at present I have no idea how long delivery is. We are away until late July, so hopefully we will be sorted by August. It's no big deal really, but I have paid for the warranty, so I will get it done.
(Note. Just re-read my last post. I said it was going in in March. Silly brain fade. Should have been June.)
