Hi all

Can someone please tell me how to replace the connector for the rear tail light?

Mine is broken as you can see in the picture.

Citroen C3 rear light cluster plug

I believe this may be the cause of the lights not working at time and i have to push it in for it to work again. thanks

Hi amitr19

Yes,

Get one (or two) of these tail light plugs

also get some of these crimp butt connectors. Some RED and some BLUE so you have some to practice on and the red so thinner wire than the blue, so have plenty to choose from.

Then this ratchet crimp tool.

There is a video on how to use that ratchet crimp tool in this topic.

Your plug burned and melted because of this fault :)

Thanks I'll give this a try. I'll keep the engine off while doing this work but do I need to unplug anything from the battery?

Cheers

Always best to disconnect the quick release terminal from the battery when working with the electrical side, but if you don't have the keys in the ignition or the lights on, it will be safe.
