I'm getting a knocking noise from f/n/s of the car. It's worse when going over uneven roads (not necessary over pot holes). It's been in to a tyre/exhaust & suspension specialist twice already & to a local mechanic twice. Each time it's had parts replaced that have perished including gearbox mount, antiroll bar Bush, upper bushes both sides, track rod ends but still hasn't cured the original issue...... Any ideas please? Thanks

Hi

The drop links cause that sound. Its the link between the anti-roll bar and suspension strut.

Its like a deep knock, particularly over road surface that isn't that bad for the sound you get.

It sounds worse than it is and when I first heard it, it reminded me of the exhaust pipe knocking the body when going over only a slightly bumpy road.
