Ihave a citroen c3 1 desire 1.4hdi knocking on n/side changed struts wishbone s drop links, still knocking ,im at my wits end the only part i didn't replace was the strut top bearings as lad at garage said they were ok ,seems to be lower than that ,can anyone help please , I Love my little car 60+ mpg don't want to part with it but it's driving me nuts its on a 53 plate

You can detect a loose drop link - the mounting nut to suspension damper when travelling over moderately uneven surfaces. You don't get the knock on flat or even pot holes.
If you changed the struts, you could have changed the strut top bearing and its mount at the same time, it doesn't make much sense not to.
The drop link connects to the anti-roll bar and there are 2 bushes for the anti-rollbar. If these become worn, you may get a similar knock to the drop-link one.
Does the knocking get better, worse or no different in the wet?

i have put new drop links new wish bones with all the bushes and ball joints and struts only thing i can think of is the links on [ rack that go to new track rod ends ,thanks for replies

thats my next step although i have a feeling it could be the bar from the rack to the rod end so i will check both tomorrow thanks for your replies
