These two sets are listed for C3 I on the Sachs website.
How do I figure out if my car has for increased ground clearance, or Box body type?
What is the Box body type actually?

Hi marosh

You have either a standard C3, like millions of others or one from a foreign market with increased ground clearance.

Reply with your VIN or PM it to me and I can make sure if yours is something special or not :)

To use the 312 419/20 I would also need the taller springs, right?

The thing is, already bought them.
Given the state of Irish roads, raising the vehicle would not be unwarranted, if it is just a matter of the springs.

Fit the right springs and dampers for your RPO and spec.

You don't know what was also changed on the models with different suspension.

There may be issues with insurance if you change spec. And presumably there is more ground clearance on the rear suspension as well, so you could finish running 'nose up' and have handling problems.
