I get the idea of what's happening, however if you want to post the video you could upload it to youtube and then place a link here? Remember to make the video public on youtube otherwise the link won't work.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

You will end up changing the power steering rack and the power steering ECU as these are the 2 things that cause the fault and it can be tricky to determine which one.
Doing just the EPAS ECU my work, but you may end up with 2 blown EPAS ECUs and be no better off.
Yes, you can't upload videos to the forum, only pictures. If you have a video it needs to go on youtube and use the 'youtube' BBCode.Missing Lincs wrote:however if you want to post the video you could upload it to youtube and then place a link here?

If you want to try just the ECU first, then you can pick up an ECU here (ebay click) but be prepared to do the rack too from this link can be a cheaper option (click) than new.C3CAR wrote:Hi algdak

If I get a second hand steering ecu are they specifically coded to each car or can i just buy any one and fit it to my own car. Or do I need to match the numbers on the steering ecu to my original ?

They are not coded and they are quite common across the various Citroen models. It would be a good idea to match the numbers if you can, failing that go for one from the same model and spec as yours.algdak wrote:If I get a second hand steering ecu are they specifically coded to each car or can i just buy any one and fit it to my own car.
