steering rack

My citroen has some play at the end of the steering rack due to a faulty bush which needs replacing. I noticed it while replacing the inner tie rod. I have already been redirected to purchase a new steering rack which doesnt make sense to me. There is nothing serious and no mechanical damage. Works fine except for some remote knocking noise. A bushing kit will solve the issue. Other car manufacturers sell this kit but citroen doesnt seem to sell the bush.
Where can I buy this?

The part is not listed in the Citroen diagrams, as you have found.




You may have to resort to a used rack, like this one on ebay and rob it for parts. The problem with a worn bush is that other internal parts may also be worn and getting a complete unit may be the best long term solution. But at least with the ebay rack you get a whole load of parts should you find others worn while changing the bush.
