Hi allan

The steel wheels listed for the C3 in 14" flavour are

5,50 J14 H2 4-24

With a Citroen part number 5401K1

The steel wheels listed for the C3 in 15" flavour are

6,00 J15 CH 4-27

With the Citroen part number 5401J2

Which may help finding a cross reference with a peugeot or other citroen car?

Hello Allan, thanks for your mention of winter while its sweltering here :)

Do you have any recommendations for winter tyres? any brands or makes that you have been particularly pleased with?

I can see the advantage of a set of summer and a set of winter tyres and would be interested in hearing your experiences.

HI Guru, before I go any farther is it OK to call you Guru, right about the winter tyres that I have used on my HDI Xantia were Verdestein Snowtrac 3 and I was very pleased with them they certainly give you more traction than summer tyres, but that is the only type iv'e had,I know it might be a bit expensive to have winter wheels/tyres but you only have them on for 4 or 5 months they last for a few seasons as long as you have the space to keep them I think they are worth the expense, later in the year I will try and sell my Xantia wheels/tyres which still have 6mm left on them, hope this helps

Hi allan, Guru is the tag you get with a certain number of posts, there is more than one guru here. I am C3CAR, but you can call me whatever you like :D

Thank you for the information about winter tyres. Is great to hear from a real world experience. I can see the storage being an issue for some and the initial expense of an extra set of wheels and tyres, but its good to know that you found it worthwhile.

Its a shame your Xantia tyres won't fit your C3 steel wheels.
