My wife's Mk2 C3 2015 1.6 blue has developed a squeaky front suspension. Have checked all front suspension and can't find anything that is loose or worn. Car has driven approx 30k so not expecting anything drastic. Have sprayed all joints and anti roll bar bushes with silicon spray but no difference ? Only squeaks with road bumps when driving along not affected by steering. Has anyone had similar problem ?
Trouble is I don't have anyone to bounce the car while I try to pinpoint the squeak :x
Thanks in advance.

How are the droplinks? They do knock when loose or worn while going over small road bumps. I'v not heard them squeak, but could be worth a spray :D

Yes sprayed the drop links thoroughly but suspect any lube would be stopped by the rubber cover. Next step will be to disconnect them and try a bounce test . That should tell me it its anti roll bar/drop link related.

You can pop the rubber cover off.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

Had it up on ramps todaysnd disconnected the drop links. The cause was the rubber torsion bar mountings/ bushes. I can only think that the car has driven over something that has contaminated the bushes as the squeak started suddenly one morning . Have lubed them up with proper silicone oil from a syringe as this won't dry out or damage the rubber. Smooth and quiet again :)
Thanks for suggestion.
