spare key fob does not work for central locking

The spare key fob does not work (key works but central locking not). I took it apart, soldered a broken circuit, but still no joy. Is there a cheap /easy part fix for this? Thanks again!

Hi

There is not cheap fix for the fob other than battery, case and switches. Maybe you can include re-synchronising in the cheap fix, but that is also car related.

If your circuit board was damaged, I don't know how that happened because it is all in a protective plastic case, then you need to repair it to a working state or replace it. The replacement boards are very expensive for what they actually are. A second hand one won't work, but it may give you enough parts to get it working again.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

Thanks. I opened the fob and a bit of metal fell out. Think I'll need to send it off to get it fixed. Any idea about the window?
