After having a non start problem I have changed the ignition maxi fuse. Vehicle now starts ok but all side lights come on with the ignition which I could live with but the wipers are going all the time or if they stop there is a clicking from the bsm under the bonnet.

This is going to be difficult to diagnose fully without a lexia tool connected. But if you wanted to try a cheap thing first, before getting into the diagnostics, try another BSM unit (from ebay here). There are a few different versions and some C5 BSM modules for the C3 so you have a bit of searching to do.

Its a simple swap over and no programming needed and may solve your problem, if not, connect lexia and look at why the wipers are triggered.

Do you have auto wipers?

Fitted another bsm. No difference yes got auto wipers so tried pulled the fuse for the rain sensor and wipers still operate randomly.
Gonna set the laptop up tomorrow on it and have a play.
