Hi, I have had plenty of up and downs with my car and people say I should have scrapped it years ago but I have defied them every time and put it back on the road.

But this time could be end.

It has 145,000 miles on the clock and the diesel injectors may have possibly gone again. They have already been re-conditioned twice!!

The cars value is around £800 and it may need a couple of replacement injectors, fuel pump, or worse.

I don't know what the issue is but it may take some work to get to the bottom of it.

Apart from that it has a recent battery, 4 good tyres, a brand new spare, recent starter motor, 2 recent front light units and a good interior.

It starts if you spray brake cleaner in the intake but cuts out after a while because of the low fuel pressure.

I think it could possibly be the fuel pump but that is going to cost money in both parts and labour.

Some of the body work also needs some tlc, plus it needs a new drivers door lock, and a rear wiper motor.

Finally after that I will need to get an MOT if I was to get it running.

Do I call it a day and try and sell it for the best price as it is, or try and sell some of the parts and just scrap it?

Hi,

I still have it and it's never the end.

But I did have to go out and buy a new car.

Now I am looking to sell the C3.

It has lots of good parts on it and is worth way more than the £400 that I am asking for it.
