Hi.
I am after any info on changing a seat belt tensioner on a 2007 are they easy to remove, do you have take the seat out to remove the tensioner, I have seen you have to remove the battery connection to stop the abs light coming on. Any information would be appreciated please.

Hi

The pre-tensioner looks quite easy to remove after popping the cap off it looks like you can get to the fixings. It would be easier with the seat removed or even some of the centre console?

I have not had to do this job, but try without removing the seat and if you can't complete the job, the seat comes out

Big problems with the safety of pre-tensioners are like the air bags. Storage and subsequent disposal of the failed parts can be a head ache.

The problems with AIR BAG faults are usually the connectors on the loom rather than the units themselves.
