Hello.

I have a Citroen C3 SX 2006.

It has a RH Rear Brake Light warning but as far as I can tell the bulb and socket both work, the right brake light just doesn’t activate when the pedal is pressed.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello

How did you test the socket?

Hello

How did you test the socket?
I plugged the RH Lamp Block into the LH wiring (brake light works on the LH) at it functions as normal.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the same bulb is used in my vehicle model for the rear and brake lights and when I turn on the headlights the brake light bulb on either side works.
I’ve only just got the vehicle, its been sat on a drive for some time...if this isn’t correct functionality please let me know lol

That is a good way to test. Great.

The fault stays on the same side, no matter if you swap the lamp or the lamp holder block.

The BSI fuse box has fuses for the rear brake lights on the 2002 early C3 models, but I don't see them listed for the later 2006 models.
Are you sure it is a facelift model?

Other than that there is a common problem with that rear light cluster plug that gets burnt, well worth checking

It would be easy to check the fuses in the BSI

You can find the 2006-2009 Citroen C3 BSI fuse box location here. This would also help identify that it is a 2006 facelift because the early 2002 models have a different BSI.
