Hi,

I’ve recently just had an error on my dash saying “LH Reverse Light Fault”. I thought it was probably just blown and needed replacing so I did this myself and then started the car but the fault message was still there. I’ve tried researching on what it could be but can’t really make much sense of what’s online, is there anyone who may be able to explain possible reasons for the light not working and how to fix it in Layman’s terms please? :)

I’ve seen about fuses but nowhere seems to state which fuse is responsible for the reverse lights.

This is on a 2007 Citroen C3 Desire

Many thanks,

Christian

Hi Christian

Ask a friend to check the reversing lights are actually working while you start the engine, depress the clutch and select reverse.

You should have 2 white reversing lights showing.

Then check the two number plate illumination lights are showing when the stalk for lights are turned 'on' when the car is in neutral
