My reverse light isn't working it isn't the bulb or the fuse there is already an earth wire redirected to the main light cluster (if that makes sense?) my car is a c3 2007 desire

Before you start looking for fuses it would be best to check whether there is power to the bulb holder.Julielupton57 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 10:32 am My reverse light isn't working it isn't the bulb or the fuse there is already an earth wire redirected to the main light cluster (if that makes sense?) my car is a c3 2007 desire

I assume you mean the earth wire in the loom is burnt out (and has been replaced)? It doesn't matter, if the other globes are working it's not the earth.Julielupton57 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 10:32 am there is already an earth wire redirected to the main light cluster (if that makes sense?)
Are both globes out (left side and right side)? If so, it's unlikely to be your globes or the assembly but you could check the bulb socket contacts for corrosion anyway. I have tried a number of times to get globes to work in the lamp holder sockets knowing both the globes and sockets are fine but they still wont work. How are you checking the globes? Putting them in the fog light sockets? Don't just look at the filament.
Which fuse did you check?
