Trying to retro fit a cruise control in a Citroen c3 Attraction. This is a brand new car (orga of May 2014) and when I bought the car, the dealer explicitly told me that in this type of car it was not possible to install a cruise control, not eaven if you would be willing to pay the big amount for it. However I am going to try anyway... I have several questions. Please see the photo's...

There is a connector with six wires. I have been told that if the cables are connected in the proper way, this would act as the master switch for the cruise control.
Q1: Please can anyone with a real c3 cruise control check for me how I should wire them up?

There is a white connector, I suspect it could have something to do with the brake paddle switch, but it might as well be something else.
Q2: Does anybody know what it is for?
Thanks.

I will keep you posted of my progress ( if any :-)).
Is this two wire connector related to the cruise control?

The control of the cruise - engine speed and power is controlled by the engine ECU.. If the ECU doesn't have the software/maps, it wouldn't be possible to implement cruise control. The BSI will also need to be programmed to include the cruise option. It will be interesting to hear how it goes and if the software is in place. I don't see that it would be impossible, but more along the lines of uneconomical.

Unfortunately I don't have a new shape C3 to compare wiring.

You could test to see if its the brake switch, there will be a change in resistance to earth or between pins when the brake pedal is depressed. You will get a resistance change even with the battery disconnected if its a traditional switch.

You will need diagbox/lexia (here) to access the BSI to update cruise 'present' status.

Here is a little Update....

I have not been able to get Diagbox up and running and because of this, I still have not got the cruise control working :-(

Please checkout the 1+ 16 screenshots of an official PSA pdf file about the cruise control.
It has almost all you need to know about the cruise control, very helpfull indeed!

Wow, that is a lot of information there, even the bit about not putting a bit of plastic in the bin. Thank you for taking the time to attach and upload all of the screen shots.
