Hello
So earlier today, on my C3 A51 2010, one of the rear springs broke,
Looking at spare parts I see that 2 different types of springs is available.
From the manual it seems both can be fitted, though my question is, if it would hurt to change to a slightly longer one?
The ones already fitted is OEN 5102 CV (Bottom on the picture), where the longer one is 5102 CT (Top one).
My main reason for changing to the longer one primarily price.
Replacing rear springs

Hi
Whichever you choose, you must do both.
If you fit different springs on the same axle you can get weird handling.
Change both, at the same time, with a pair or springs and you won't have that problem.

Hello
The springs, although longer now will compress to the correct length when the car weight is on them.
As mentioned, replace them as a pair.
