Rear wiper acting strange

Hello.
C3 1.4 hdi 2013. Norwegian living in Chile.
Rear wiper doesn't move when switched on. A cklick from a relay can be heard. Not moving.
But the wiper moves whith the break lights and when pushing the opening button on the back door. Disconnected socket on the wiper motor, and opening button stops working.
Have made the BSI reset without any change. All fuses ok.

I wouldn't go for the BSI first.

It sounds more like an earth fault on the rear wiper circuit.

Check the earth circuit, you can make up a bypass cable direct to the battery negative terminal to provide a termorary earth to the wiper plug just for testing to prove the circuit.

Yes. It was two wire-breaks. Both to heater in rear window. Earth and power broken several places in the rubber hose at left hinge of back door. That mase everything crazy because lack of ground. Jointed cables and everything is back working now.
