As part off my 'inspection' of my daughters new car I ended up removing the rear drums to inspect shoes etc...shoes were fine but both sides bearings feel apart!!..no worries I thought,£26 a pair from Andrew Page..
PROBLEM:..the new bearing kits, which were checked with citreon(poor customer service btw) include a new oil seal and washer. The washer whilst being round..is also L shaped in profile. WHICH WAY RND DOES THIS WASHER GO ON?...

It fits with the face of the washer in first (the bottom of the L), so you can still see the vertical parts when its installed (the sides of the L).WHICH WAY RND DOES THIS WASHER GO ON?...

It turns out I was supplied with the wrong bearings... all sorted now. I was given the new and correct bearing kit plus a battery I needed as compensation!
