My first stop would have to get the wheels balanced for a vibrating at speed problem.
Hoppy82 wrote:Anyway, the vibrations have reduced slightly but it's still vibrating more than I would expect on a car of this age. Does anyone have any ideas please with regards to what could be causing the vibrations in the steering wheel/pedals and the negative toe on the rear wheel.
Vibrations are most probably due to unbalanced wheels I would go back to
F1 Autocentres after booking an appointment online to get the wheels balanced.
Hoppy82 wrote:However the rear toe on the left wheel was out. I was advised that he wouldn't be able to adjust this due to being a solid rear axle, but said to not worry about it :s
Sloppy rear suspension bushes maybe, damaged wheel bearing possibly? not something you can 'adjust' like you can with the front track rod ends.

Even the ones that are over 10 years don't vibrate at 65+ MPH
