Hi all, new here and after some advice!
Recently bought a c3 which I really like. But both the air bag lights are on normal 'air bag' one and the passenger airbag 'off ' one but the key switch is turned on?

Just to be sure, this is the AIR BAG system check light, it comes on during the self test when the ignition is first switched on, and it goes out after a few seconds if the system checks out ok.

The passenger air bag deactivation for the rear facing child seat looks like the image below. This light indicates the passenger air bag is deactivated and stays illuminated while the ignition is on and the passenger air bag switch is in the off position.

This is the switch for the passenger air bag deactivation

If the passenger air bag light is on and it shouldn't be, try operating the switch (using the car key) while the ignition is on, look to see if the light stays on.

If it does, there may be a fault with the switch, or the wiring for the switch. Because the car is new to you its history with this fault is unknown. If you want to dig deeper into this fault, then the only tool available to read the code associated with the passenger air bag deactivation light and check the switch signal is good, is the Lexia tool from Amazon or ebay too.
