Hi allan, try this procedure to disconnect the battery on a C3 to see if it will reset the computer systems.

It may be relevant, but why did you need to disconnect the battery? The work may have affected the power steering?

Hi Guru, I had left my head lights on yesterday and when I was going out last night the battery was flat I disconnected the battery to put another one in but couldnt get the battery out so reconnected it and put it on charge until this morning and just started the car without going through the procedure you mentioned after driving the car for a wee while stopping and starting the power steering is fine thanks again for getting back to me so quickly
