Power Steering Motor

Hi All,

Hope you can help me, my wife's 2013 C3 1.4 petrol power steering is really bad and sticking quite a lot and the garage are saying it needs the motor replacing and its going to cost around £1300 i was hoping you lovely people might be able to direct me to the correct place where i might pick up a reconditioned power steering motor with a warranty.

Hi hibs72

There are loads of steering racks listed for all the various options for that year. You may need to pinpoint a compatible one by VIN.

Citroen don't list a separate motor to the rack on that year, so you may end up getting a complete recon rack and motor.

The citroen way to do this is new rack with motor complete and new ePAS ECU at the same time.

I do hope they are sure that the motor is faulty because these things just usually go on and on.

You can give BBA-Reman a call to see if they recon the steering racks , they are on 01634687222. Tell then the citroen C3 owners forum sent you but have your VIN ready.
