Hi, as you guys are probably aware I'm now moving onto the next fault I'm experiencing with my c3.
When scanning all ECU's through global test in lexia under the power steering ecu dialogue it states NO, when out
Driving power steering is working so thinking maybe a fuse or wiring problem? Where about is the power steering ecu located. Tried to do a search in the forum but search bar is not working. I have attached a screen shot of lexia showing my fault

Does the power steering work?
If it does I would just stick tape over the bottom of your screen and forget what lexia is telling you.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

Yeah well when we drove it back after purchasing it it was fine. I'd rather see if it's something simple or is this a common thing for you to give that answer haha

Its not a common fault00James00 wrote:Yeah well when we drove it back after purchasing it it was fine. I'd rather see if it's something simple or is this a common thing for you to give that answer haha

And unusual. Did you manage to update the BSI software that was mentioned in another topic?

Not ABS fault detected - good news.
BSI fault? Start there and see what the fault code is

Have not updated BSI as of yet, the BSI fault is only the exterior temperature sensor.
I'll check the wiring that's going to the steering wheel ecu thanks for its location.
Is there one fuse that controls this ecu?

The fuses are listed here but you will also find the maxi fuses supply the EPS.00James00 wrote:Is there one fuse that controls this ecu?
If the EPS ECU fuse is blown then no part of the car will communicate with it and you won't have power steering working. If it does I would just stick tape over the bottom of your screen and forget what lexia is telling you.
You may end up changing the Power steering ECU (from ebay) if only to prove that the EPS ECU is ok and its not a BSI problem. The C3 EPS ECU is just like your AIRBAG ecu change.
