I was wondering on my MK1 2009 1.6 Hdi if it was possible to central lock the car without activating the alarm as suggested here:

https://www.citroenc3owners.com/questio ... t2178.html

but without doing that manual lock inside every door?

The alarm is factory fitted and has two buttons - lock and unlock. The alarm activates as soon as the lock button is pressed.

Obviously there is a fault in the alarm system.
The question is do you want to fix it or by-pass it?
If you want to by pass it disconnect the blue connector at the alarm module located as shown in those photos.
If you want to fix it, that will take more work.

I'd assumed it was set like that but I cannot find away to lock without arming the alarm.

That post I referred to mentions "You can remove the alarm option from the BSI if you want it disabled. "

But where do I find that option to disable?

The alarm uses the "stock" door lock switches, an auxiliary switch on the bonnet catch, the 'volumetric' sensors on the 'A' pillars and some have a 'tilt' switch. I would say one of those may be faulty, or even the alarm module.

The alarm option is in the 'BSI' ecu selection in LEXIA ( the scan tool).
