Hi. The switches are in the center console on the pluriel and they didn't plug them back in or broke the plugs when they removed it?Mr-paine wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 3:06 pm Hi all had my car in garage today to replace gear linkages as they had snapped just got a call from mechanic to say since Center console has been refitted front windows are not working but rear ones are does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Thanks for the reply the garage are now saying that there is a circuit board on drivers window motor that has gone and this is what has stopped both front windows working? The windows where fine when it was took in does this sound right? Or do you think I may be getting fobbed off?Arfur Dent wrote: ↑Thu May 17, 2018 7:21 pmHi. My money would be on the 2 switches that are part of the centre console around the gear selector for very obvious reasons.
But it does seem a very strange coincidence, but how can you prove it either way, other than go with letting the garage fix it?
