I have a 2005 C3 Pluriel and I am trying to find the function of the 6 wires that go to the door actuators. Does any one have access to the wiring detail for these actuators. I presume one is to lock another to unlock, one earth. The door can dead lock so maybe another to activate that. I'm really just stabbing in the dark so any technical detail would be appreciated. My C3 Pluriel lives in the antipodes and feels fairly isolated here in New Zealand with very little expertise to call on.

Hi NZMike, unfortunately the door actuator wiring is not a simple as you hope. There is a long and helpful topic for the door locks in this topic - Help me break in to my C3? that also has some of the wiring signals for the door lock solenoids.NZMike wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 10:20 am I have a 2005 C3 Pluriel and I am trying to find the function of the 6 wires that go to the door actuators. If you are having central locking issues, this is often faulted down to a bad BSI and the fix for that is here - Central Locking BSI Repair.

Thanks so much C3Car Guru for the prompt response. The previous posts you pointed me to are most informative. I have already spent $400NZ at the auto electrician to get the doors unlocked after they suddenly dead locked. He felt it was the 2 front door actuators at $1200NZ to replace and if it was a BSI fault well scrap the car. After reading many of the post on this forum I could not agree with his diagnosis. My simplest option was to fit and aftermarket wireless door entry module and see if I can bypass the BSI's desire to deadlock the doors everytime it receives a lock signal.
Thanks again I'll update my progress.
