Hi,

I have some issues with the rear door. the door can be closed however it won't lock and can be opened within the inside/outside even when I centrally lock it. Others doors function as expected.

When talking to a repair shop they told me it was electronic and would cost 400 to change it...

Trying my luck here to see if you have any advice for me to try on my side to fix it first.

Hi

Probably door solenoid if it's an electronic locking problem.

Take that door card off to find the door solenoid.

Probably the solenoid, but could be damaged wiring where the door loom flexes at the hinge entry point.

Take the other rear door card off and swap the suspect solenoid to the other door. If the fault moves with it, its the solenoid. If the fault stays with the original door, its the wiring.
