Hi all. My wife just bought a new-to-her 62-plate Picasso. The gear lever boot is torn and the plating on the knob is broken and as a consequence has sharp edges.

Any tips, or known pitfalls, on removing/replacing these please? I've got the new parts, just need to get them fitted.

TIA
Stuart.

Citroen C3 Picasso Gaiter and surround
Citroen C3 Picasso Gaiter and surround

Hi Stuart

It looks pretty straight forward.

Gear knob off, then the surround and the gaiter can be removed.

By all means update the topic should it turn out differently

The knob should just pull off, but it is likely to be very difficult. Try not to hurt yourself as it will suddenly go!

Thank you both. I'm going to have a go at it tomorrow morning, so I'll let you know how I get on.

Straightforward job. :)

The hardest part was stretching the new leather over the frame.
