Hi all, I have a 2010 C3 Picasso (1.6hdi). A while ago I had intermittent abs/esp fault on dash, but it's now on all the time. I have lexia/diagbox, it says fault code c1335, back right wheel sensor, so I changed sensor and didn't clear it. I have tested the wiring and the white/green stripe Wire from abs module to rear right sensor is shorted to earth. I cut the wire at the abs unit end to run a new piece of wire to the sensor, but the short circuit is in the abs unit.
So can the abs unit be faulty? If so can it be fixed or how do I find which abs units will work on my car? As there are plenty of similar ones to mine but to get an exact match on my abs pump number will cost hundreds for a used part, I'm confused.
My VIN is VF7SH9HZCAT5 14666
Any help would be appreciated, I will try and attach pics of my abs pump unit

Hi

Do you drive this on the beach? That is a lot of unusual corrosion.

You can ask BBA Reman to remanufacture your ABS unit, if it is repairable.

I live on the north east coast and I'm a delivery driver, my poor car really gets worked (average 20,000 miles a year). I will check them out, but I use car 7 days a week so would prefer a replacement to swap to minimise time without car and income.

The Citroen part number in your pictures is 9666392480 (eBay) is how I would match the part numbers with those on the eBay listings.

You have lexia/diagbox so you can run the ABS bleeding program when you do the swap.
