Hello all
I have just bought 2016 HDi vtr+ C3 picasso..
when i viewed it both dipped headlights were not working.. The garage assured me it was just from where the car had been in the storage compound with the battery disconnected and it was quite common for this to occur on all makes of car when they reconnected after a time in storage?
How ever i have read about the dreaded water in the fuse box ..
The garage showed me the headlight bulbs and the element had blown ..
My question is A- are 2014 models still affected by this problem? And B when the dipped headlights stop working after water gets in the fuse box , Does it blow the elements or do the lights stop working due to the plug in the fuse box having water in it without blowing the elements..
I am hoping the garage are telling me the truth as the car has a full service history with receipts to back up the service book stamps. It has done 63000 miles ..
Thanks neville05_

This is rubbish.

As you have seen a blown bulb, this is probably the only issue. It is very common for bulbs on both sides to blow at about the same time. If they replace both bulbs, they should both work. Only if then they do not work is there likely to be an issue.
