Hi!
I was wondering if the only way to unlock the car by using the key is the lock on the driver's side? There are no other mechanical locks? The cylinder has seized up and W40 spray didn't work. If I change the lock cylinder I would need to get new keys, right?
Thanks!

Hi Vidar
The locking and unlocking is done by the remote fob.
The single door lock is only to be used on occasion when the remote locking fails, for instance: the car battery has drained.
Keeping the unused emergency lock lubricated with this special graphite lock powder should be a yearly service item, but I think it still may not be officially.
If the car has deadlocks you will find it more difficult to get in (from inside lock manipulation) than if it doesn't or hasn't deadlocked.
I don't know how to get in though

Yes, this is only a "plan B" if I couldn't use the remote. Was hoping to avoid spending money on fixing the lock, but I might have to if there are no other keyholes.
