I have located the resistor via the glove box and disconnected the attached wiring loom. However I am lost as to how to remove. There does not appear to be any retaining screws. It does not appear to turn clockwise or anticlockwise for removal. I enclose a picture of the replacement part. I would be grateful for any information as how best to remove.
Thanks

Hi mwalindo. I have not had to remove a Picasso heater resistor before and as you pointed out, there are no screws like they have on other Citroen models.

I found these images of the same resistor and have arrowed what looks like it could be a tab to aid removal. It's only a guess, but it's going to be clipped in and a squeeze of a clip is often what is needed to remove these sorts of fixings found on the C3 Picasso.

Let me know if this helps and also if it is of no use at all please :)

Thanks Arfur Dent Guru for the advice. It worked a treat. Ended up using a long phillips screwdriver to depress the clip. Resistor freed easily thereafter. Unfortunately even though Citroen advised the "correct" part number, the one removed is a slightly different fitting for the wiring loom. I have now fingers crossed ordered the correct part (£20). Hopefully if it works out I will still be on course to make a saving. Citroen quoted £117.22 plus vat for the part or £206.00 plus vat for replacement resistor with fitting.

Cheers

Even if you don't get a refund on the wrong part, you will still be quids in :)
