Hello everyone,
I have just bought a 2006 C3 Exclusive with an automatic gearbox. It felt like getting into an airplane cockpit when I first got in it with all the buttons, switches and steering wheel levers - many of which I have no clue what they are or do. I know lights, indicators, wipers and steering and there it ends but have no other information. The car came from a deceased former owner and no manual or user handbook could be traced so I am very much in the dark with what all the car's controls are. I have looked online and cannot find a user manual available for my vehicle. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a user manual, please? Very grateful for all and any help. Thank you.

Without identifying the model you have (you selected 'I don't know' in the registration), it will be more difficult to point you in the right direction, other than, have you tried eBay - for the C3 owners manual? The same manual covers manual and automatic and all the options, even if they were not fitted to your model. But the split on model was in 2006, and a few things look a little different between the models.

The easiest way to identify which manual you need is by the instrument cluster.

This manual goes with this cluster.
Externally and mechanically there were very little difference between the two models. The biggest difference was in the interior design styling.
However you will need the right manual as there are significant differences in the layout and operation of some components. Like the dash, the fuse boxes and the stock radio.
While the 2002-2005 models were just called the C3, the 2005-2010 were given the nickname "facelift" version. So by default the 2002-2005 models then became known as the pre-facelift version.
The change over between the models was in late 2005.
Oh, mermaidnwuk, your Bio is a bit wonky. You have stated the engine is both a 1.6 and 1.4?
Please go over to the C3 Club area and introduce yourself. If you tell us the VIN number of your car we might be able to help you with your Bio. It's very important that we know exactly what car you have if you need help at any time.

Thank you. Your pictures were very helpful to me as I now think I need the second user manual shown, the green one, for the facelift version of the C3. I will now search eBay.
