Hi,

I need to change the oil and don’t have the correct socket/wrench to remove the sump plug.

A standard spanner is no good as the plug is recessed on this model. It looks like the centre of the plug would take a square section wrench but I'm not working in ideal conditions to be sure of that. Does anyone know what size square wrench or hex socket (25mm ?) to use

This is a 2009 C3 1.4 VTi model.

If I recall correctly the sump plug requires a 8mm square drain plug key.

Halfords sells them for £5.
