Pretty much as the title suggest my high level brake light is out and the bulb is fine
So to double check I put a multi meter across it and found no voltage getting to it
Is there a common point were the wire could get damaged or is it on a separate fuse or anything?
What route does the wireing take? Might save me ripping the interior apart if I can find were the wire comes out/connects to

The high level is fused by the same fuse as the brake lights. The supply is tee'd off one of the rear brake light supplies but I don't know where, try the rear light clusters?

Check for a voltage at the lamp holder to earth (an earth point) and check for continuity of the lamp connector earth to a known good earth point.

Sorted it
The connection to where the bulb goes in was full of crap!
Jammed a flat screwdriver it and out a few times to scratch the connection clean and all is well now :)
Thanks anyway

Is it right to only have a 5w wedge bulb in it? Seems a bit low to me!

You are correct, it an odd lamp that goes in there, not a common 5W one.

One of these from ebay or amazon
