Ive had problems with sticky gear selection then all of a sudden the gears would not select at all. Ive checked the connection at the gear stick its fine. Ive trace the cables all the way along. Ive just spotted where the cable bracket bolts to the gearbox the bolt is completley gone which leaves the bracket to float. is this the likely reason? what size bolt? and should the bracket be positioned in a certain way before its bolted back? thanks rick

Fixing for bracket is listed as 6925.P2 FLANGED SCREW DIAM 8X125-25 (number 70) requires two

7 is the bracket and 6 is the weight.

I would say they need to fit a particular way for it to work
