Hi doug ward. The mileage is stored in 2 locations - the BSI and the Speedo unit or 'combine' as it is called in the lexia. A check is made that the 2 figures match and various security measures are in place because of the sensitivity of rolling back the mileage.doug ward wrote:hi I have a c3 pluriel everything works fine except milage display its stuck on 000000 I have tried 3 times to reset bsi still same any help would be great thanks
If a basic reset by disconnecting the battery (BSI Reset doesn't fix it then you will need, at least a Lexia system clone tool (click here) and its supporting laptop some information (here) about that in the link.
But if the mileage reading is corrupted, not even lexia can do that and other hardware will be needed.
With lexia, you can look in the speedo unit computer at the status of mileage memory, but if its wrong, you can't change it from here
