Had my passenger side wing mirror glass smashed so brought a new one watched a quick video and fit it and now it wont adjust at all with the inside stick or by hand. My glass before was stiff so had to do it by hand as well as it didn't move around enough to adjust correctly. My driver side is fine and moves around with the stick no problem. If I take the glass off again how do I check that the stick it working correctly or if it's my fault for incorrectly fitting the glass.
Any help majorly appreciated as really hate driving without all my mirrors in working order.

There is not much to the door mirror. If it doesn't work then its probably broken inside. Just replace the unit.
The manual adjustment lever can be impossible to move or it could be floppy with no resistance, either way its busted, probably broken plastic parts inside the mirror assembly and a replacement, second hand would suffice
