I have a Citroen C3 Desire 2004 HDI VIN No. VF7C8HXB27019300 can you tell me where the filler is for the manual transmission

Hi Allan

The computer says no. The VIN is not valid.

Probably a typo

But the 8v diesel from 2004 has the MA type gearbox and the filler point is on the end of the gearbox.
MA 5 gearbox 8v diesel Citroen C3 filling point
MA 5 gearbox 8v diesel Citroen C3 filling point

29 is the fill and level, while 30 is the drain point.

Use the approved total Gear 8 oil (here) for the MA gearbox.

Sorry about that it was a typo the Vin No is VF7FC8HXB27019300 I don't know if that changes anything but thought I would let you know I will have a look now and see how I get on

It's me again I removed the plastic liner under the wing but still cant find the filler plug can you help me please

I know later C3s don't have a level/filler port, but I would have expected a 2004 to have it. My 2006 does not have a fill port, and so to fill it has to be first completely drained, then under the battery tray there is a breater port (covered by a little plastic/rubber cap) and the exact qauntity has to be filled into there.
