Hello!
I have normal C3 (2005) hatchback.
Ive noticed the left side floormat is soaking wet (in front of back seat. right side and front is dry), and today I noticed a trickle of water running from under the back seat down to the floor.
First I thought the hatch in the floor underbackseat was open and water splashed in when driving, but I also noticed the lining of the roof is clearly wet above and behind back door. The water runs down from the roof down the back pillar inside/behind the plastic trim, and via the floor under the backseat down onto the floor. (the front wall of the boot is moist but boot is dry, all water gathers onto backseat floor on left side.
The only idea I am having as to the leak is that the roof leaks from under the plastic trim on the roof?
I have not yet taken it off (have found out that it just pulls off roof, so no hassle there) to check, but SHOULD there be any holes through the roof under the trim? Roof around the trim is not rusty or disteressed.
I have not found info or pics of the roof without the trim to check if there are any holes through the roof for plugs to keep the trim down or the likes of that.
Does anyone know, or have had a similar problem that you have found the solution to?
To reiterate, its not a Pluriel, no sunroof.
Thanks in advance, will pull the trim off this weekend, but would appreciate input before that.

Hi
More likely the door seal (or rear hatch seal) is damaged or not fitted properly rather than a hole in the roof itself.
You don't really get holes in the C3 roof - other than the sunroof

Not sure yet, but it seems the Horus-forsaken car was leaking through at the antenna (just in front of the rear hatch).
I ran a bead of sealant (light-glue) around the "gasket" around the antenna base, and between the roof and antenna.
Ofcourse it stopped raining after that, so not sure if it fixed the problem.
Went trough all doors, nothing visible that might cause water to move upwards and into the roof.
