Hi, will the later rear lights (with clear sections) fit on a "03" plate. I have to replace one and thought the later ones would smarten the rear end up.

Thanks

Hi Deanno, I have not tried it myself, so can't say for sure. But the rear body panels, boot lid etc didn't change, only the light clusters themselves. I would be quite confident that they fit.

The new version of lights do make look nicer than the early 2002 ones. I found a new pair on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-C3-MK ... /360867412 and would suggest buying them in pairs to avoid a difference in manufacturing where you can see a difference between the two when fitted on the car.

It will be helpful to hear how you get on, some photos would be nice ;)

New lights like the ones Arfur has posted above do look great, just be aware that these are pattern parts, made to fit by another manufacturer, and not genuine Citroen. Usually the quality is good but ... I went down this route once, all was well until I needed spares. All I wanted was a new lamp holder, I couldn't even find who manufactured the assembly, let alone find a part.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

Well if the panels stayed the same externally, hopefully the inside did as well. So i will get a set and try, if they fit, it will make a huge difference to the look.
